The characteristics of the type of lighting


The type of lighting must match with your home or interior. Everyone has his style and following that, there are so many styles in lighting. You can have a preference for classic or modern lighting or you can opt for a more rustic, vintage style. The environment also plays its role in the type of lighting; in an industrial environment, a frame must be functional and the aesthetic is less important. You can then choose an industrial style.
One of the big questions that everyone is asking is how to create a proper atmosphere in a place. It is important to know what kind and number of lights to use. Each space is arranged differently and the requirements are different depending on the storage or type of place (think for example a dining table or living room). Before going into detail how many lumens are needed in places, we first want to explain some terms often used in LED lighting. These are important when choosing your lighting.
Here is a glimpse of the lumens needed per square meter. This is an indication. Of course, the situation varies depending on:
The angle of incidence of the external light
The number of windows
The desired brightness (dependent on person to person)
The size of the room
The height of the ceiling (the higher it is, the more lumen you need)
The color of walls and ceilings
Lamp type (latitude angle, light intensity, and light color also play an important role)
The place where the lighting is installed (central corner)
